3D Sketch & Toon Explainer Animation

Explainer animation focusing on the increased cost of energy supply

Working from a supplied clinet script i was tasked to illustrate each section in a hand drawn style that had a 3D feel to it. I modelled each scene and character, adding motion capture data to the model so that his movement felt natural.

I rendered each scene with cell shading and lines before adding a water colour effect at the end. The finished piece was then re-coloured to work with their partner company Electricity North West.
